Swirl Session Three brought wine and chocolate together at Piccolo Café.
Five wines, moving from a fresh sparkling opener through to something rich enough to hold its own against dark chocolate. Some pairings echoed each other, some worked by contrast, all chosen to make people rethink what chocolate can do to a glass of wine.
Thirty seats, the same relaxed format guests had come to expect. No lectures, just good wine, good company, and a few unexpected combinations.
